Corner House in Hay on Wye sleeps between two and six in four bedrooms. It is a lovely three-storey, end-of-terrace Edwardian property situated opposite the mediaeval church. It has been fully renovated and refurbished and is a short walk from the centre of Hay.
The house has a large kitchen dining room
and a cosy open-plan sitting room with wood burning stove – all wood supplied free – and with good reading lights:
On the first floor is a double bedroom, two single bedrooms and a spacious bathroom.
On the second floor is a large light double room with king-size bed with bathroom adjoining.
There is a sunny, slate tiled courtyard garden overlooked by vines and wisteria, with teak garden furniture and sun loungers.
The house is just a couple of minutes’ stroll from the centre of Hay with its world-famous bookshops, cafés, castle, vintage shops and cinema. There are great walks from the front door into the surrounding hills and down to the lovely river Wye, with swimming and canoeing. There are three free public tennis courts and cycle hire nearby.
